The workshops are conducted by Inari Salmivaara.
Inari Salmivaara is a choreographer, dancer and performer.
She is trained extensively as a dancer. She first studied classical ballet at the Finnish national ballet school,
after her graduation she moved to contemporary dance and studied at The Codarts Academy in Rotterdam.
In 2004 she graduated as a choreographer from the Theater School of Amsterdam.
After her graduation she has been working both as a freelance choreographer and dancer in the Netherlands, Canada, France, Switzerland and in Finland.
Besides her dance training Inari has been practicing capoeira angola and meditation for many years.
In her artistic work Inari mixes different artistic languages and she likes to physically involve the viewer in her performances. The starting point for her work is the theatrical situation itself: watching and being watched, sharing a room with strangers.
From her artistic practice Inari has since 2014 been developing her choreographic workshops that aim to induce individual and collective well-being.
Her workshops adapt both to adults and children.
